(Part 2 of 2) Anand Raghavan

(Part 2 of 2) Anand says that before this Saturday morning in February, when we were out taking pictures, he had only ever run by himself at Memorial Park. There was even one weekend leading up to the Houston Marathon when he did 8 laps around the Park by himself. Then, in February, he decided to join the Runners High Club and immediately realized that the miles go by faster and it's much more fun to run with other people. He used to dread his Saturday long runs, but he says now he looks forward to them. (This picture makes me smile because Anna and Anand actually just met the morning we were taking these pictures. However, it is another perfect example of how running is the great equalizer. Regardless of your background, runners feel a connection to and appreciation for their fellow athletes!)
