Lindsay started running in 2008 and immediately fell in love with the sport and Houston’s running community. Her dad thought she had lost her mind when she entered her first marathon in 2010. She eventually convinced him to join her for a long run, and he quickly realized that running can be quite rewarding. Today, in addition to running and being a Houston Marathon Ambassador, Lindsay teaches yoga classes throughout the week. She says that she especially enjoys helping runners realize the direct benefits yoga can have on their performances and preventing injuries. She is also proud of the fact that she and her dad both qualified for this year’s Boston Marathon, something that was unimaginable for either of them a few years ago.
